Accessibility
Statement

Last audited: February 2026 · WCAG 2.1 Level AA

The plain-English summary

Everyone should be able to use these tools. We designed ConverterPro to work with keyboards, screen readers, high-contrast preferences and reduced-motion settings.

We measured it. A programmatic WCAG audit in February 2026 flagged 30 contrast issues; every one was fixed. The site now passes AA on all surveyed pages in both light and dark mode.

We keep looking. Accessibility is never done. If something isn't working for you, email us — we treat these reports as priority bugs.

Colour & Contrast

  • All body text meets or exceeds WCAG AA (4.5:1 ratio for normal text, 3:1 for large text).
  • Brand accent colours — Klein blue, brand red, success green — were re-tuned in Feb 2026 to guarantee contrast in both themes without losing visual identity.
  • The interface never relies on colour alone. Icons, borders, weight and text labels reinforce every state.
  • Dark mode inverts backgrounds but keeps text-on-yellow accents dark for readability.

Keyboard Navigation

  • Every interactive element — buttons, links, form fields, upload zones — is reachable with Tab.
  • The command palette opens with Ctrl/ + K.
  • Modal dialogs trap focus and close with Esc.
  • Focus outlines are visible and consistent across the site — we never suppress the browser default without a replacement.

Screen Readers

  • Landmark regions (header, nav, main, footer) are marked up semantically.
  • Icon-only buttons carry aria-label attributes.
  • Toast notifications use aria-live so status updates are announced.
  • Every form field is associated with a visible label.

Motion & Zoom

  • Interface layouts remain functional up to 200% browser zoom without horizontal scrolling on typical viewports.
  • Animations are subtle and short (≤400ms). If your OS reports prefers-reduced-motion, non-essential motion is suppressed.
  • Nothing flashes more than three times per second — safe for photosensitive epilepsy.

Known Limitations

We are transparent about what still needs work:

  • The Video Editor Pro uses a canvas-based timeline (Konva). Timeline scrubbing is keyboard-accessible through the range slider under the preview, but individual clip selection currently requires a pointing device. On our backlog.
  • Some third-party embeds (Google AdSense, Razorpay checkout) render inside iframes we don't control; we cannot guarantee their accessibility.
  • Live audio waveforms and video thumbnails are decorative — screen readers do not read them, but every clip has an accessible name in the properties panel.
